Best Wedding Photographer in Berkshire
If you’re planning a wedding in Berkshire and searching for a photographer who can capture it authentically, here’s what you need to know. I’m Tom Stenlake, a Northamptonshire-based, fun, friendly wedding photographer with 15+ years’ experience and an extensive portfolio covering weddings across Berkshire and the wider Home Counties.
Do you cover weddings in Berkshire?
Yes, Berkshire is one of the counties I cover, and I don’t charge travel fees to get there. I’ve photographed weddings across the county, from grand riverside estates to intimate country house celebrations, and I’m happy to travel to any venue within it.
Popular wedding venues in Berkshire
Berkshire is known for its riverside estates and country houses along the Thames. Some of the county’s most popular venues include Wasing Park, Lillibrooke Manor & Barns, Stokes Farm Barn, Stanlake Park Wine Estate, Ufton Court Weddings, The Post Barn, Trunkwell House, Awberry Farm, Combe Manor Barns, The Old Mill Aldermaston, Donnington Grove, Donnington Valley Hotel & Spa, The Vineyard, Sheepdrove Organic Farm, The Swan at Streatley, Bradfield College, Benham Park, The Crab & Boar, Regency Park Hotel, Easthampstead Park, Cantley House Hotel, De Vere Wokefield Estate, Royal Berkshire Hotel, Coworth Park, The Oakley Court, Beaumont Estate, Windsor Guildhall, Castle Hotel Windsor, Sir Christopher Wren Hotel, Macdonald Windsor Hotel, Thames Lido, The Mansion House Reading, Hilton Reading, South Hill Park.
What makes a Berkshire wedding different from a Northamptonshire one
Berkshire weddings often centre on the Thames, with riverside ceremonies and receptions at estates like Oakley Court and Coworth Park giving a different backdrop to the barns and manor houses I shoot around Northamptonshire. Berkshire also sits close to London, so I often see a slightly more formal, black-tie feel alongside the same relaxed documentary moments couples want captured.
Travel and availability for Berkshire weddings
I’m based in Northampton, and I don’t charge travel fees to reach Berkshire or any of the surrounding counties I cover. Popular venues can book up 12 to 24 months in advance for peak season (May to September), so it’s worth getting in touch as early as possible once you have a date.

Some of the county’s most popular venues include The Vineyard in Stockcross, Lillibrooke Manor with its 15th-century great barn, Oakley Court’s Gothic riverside setting, Donnington Grove’s 18th-century parkland, and Coworth Park near Ascot. Whether you’re getting married beside the river or in a walled country garden, I tailor my documentary approach to suit the setting.
