Dayanne and Flynn’s wedding at The Radnor Rooms in Bristol was packed with personality, emotion and plenty of energy.
Their story began in a pub in Wokingham in 2015, shortly after Dayanne had moved to England. Flynn noticed her straight away, although it took Dayanne a little longer to notice him! Once they finally got together, things moved quickly, and just two months later they were living together.
Eight years on came a brilliantly imperfect proposal in Brasil. Flynn had planned to ask Dayanne’s parents for their blessing, even preparing a speech in Portuguese. A little confusion and a lot of lost translation later, her family thought he was about to propose. So, with no ring and none of the original plan, Flynn simply went for it in her parents’ kitchen. Dayanne said yes.
That sense of spontaneity carried perfectly into their Radnor Rooms wedding.
A Bristol Wedding Full of Character
Dayanne and Flynn chose the Radnor Rooms because they wanted somewhere intimate, distinctive and already full of character. Rather than creating a heavily styled wedding, they allowed the venue and their personalities to do the talking.
Their day brought together their different backgrounds, their families and everything they had built during their years together. It was personal, informal and completely their own.
Even their first dance had a surprise waiting for everyone. Guests had been led to believe they would be dancing to Adventure of a Lifetime by Coldplay. Instead, Bamboleo started playing, immediately bringing energy to the dance floor and setting the tone for the party that followed.
Natural Radnor Rooms Wedding Photography
Dayanne and Flynn chose me because they loved the way I capture genuine emotion and those little moments that can easily go unnoticed during a wedding.
That’s exactly how I approached their day.
I want my couples to spend their wedding enjoying themselves rather than worrying about where the photographer is or what they’re supposed to be doing next. I’ll give direction when it’s useful, have fun with everyone and create some beautiful portraits, but much of the story comes from watching what happens naturally.
This gallery is a selection of some of my favourite photographs from Dayanne and Flynn’s wedding and a brilliant example of what Radnor Rooms Bristol wedding photography can look like when a couple simply embraces the day and makes it their own.
If you’re planning your own Radnor Rooms wedding in Bristol and you’re looking for natural, authentic wedding photography with plenty of personality, I’d love to hear about your plans.
