Set in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside, Bourton Hall was the perfect stage for Nicky and Jonathon’s elegant yet enchantingly whimsical wedding. With its sweeping Italianate architecture, gilded ceilings, and breathtaking views of the Avon Valley, this exclusive-use manor blends historic charm with modern luxury. The neutral palette throughout the venue provided the perfect backdrop for their personalised touches – from subtle Disney magic to playful nods to Star Wars, every detail was a reflection of the couple’s love story.

That story began in a modern fairytale fashion – online, on Plenty of Fish. Jonathon had just moved to the area for work, and what began as a simple coffee date quickly turned into something far more. “He made me laugh,” Nicky says, “and he intrigued me from the start.” It was a connection that grew quietly and deeply, until one extraordinary day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida. Posing for a photo in front of the Millennium Falcon, Nicky was completely caught off guard as Jonathon dropped to one knee. “I was flabbergasted! After six years, I’d almost given up… but he surprised me in the most magical way.”

The wedding day brought that same magic to life. Their theme – Disney Magic – was a celebration of everything they love: grand, joyful, cinematic, and full of heart. From elegant touches to playful details, the styling was both sophisticated and heartfelt. Bourton Hall’s all-in-one setting gave them everything they were looking for – a sense of occasion, seamless flow between spaces, and an atmosphere that felt both timeless and deeply personal.

Their first dance to Lover by Taylor Swift – a nod to Jonathon’s love of all things “Swifty” – was a tender highlight, encapsulating their devotion to each other.

Capturing every detail was Tom Stenlake Photography, chosen for his relaxed style and natural storytelling. From quiet moments to joyful celebrations, every image is a window into the spirit of their day – authentic, beautiful, and filled with meaning.
