Wedding Photography Mentorship Programme

1-Year Wedding Photography Training Mentorship Programme

If weddings excite you but the business side feels a bit all over the place, you’re in the right place.

This mentorship is for photographers who want clear direction and real support, without information overload or a “follow these 27 steps” blueprint. Over the year, I’ll help you build confidence on actual wedding days, tighten up the parts that feel messy, and make steady progress you can genuinely feel month by month, both behind the camera and behind the scenes.

You’ll learn in the real world, not just from theory. You’ll see how I work at weddings, how I handle pressure, how I find moments before they happen, and how I keep things calm when timelines change or the light is awful. You’ll get honest feedback on your images, your approach, and your client journey, with simple tweaks that make a big difference fast.

On the business side, we’ll keep it practical and human. Pricing, enquiries, what to say, how to say it, how to stay organised, how to deliver a smooth experience that couples actually notice (and tell their friends about). Not a complicated funnel. Not a pile of templates. Just solid guidance that helps your business feel more confident, more professional, and far more bookable.

It’s not an ads programme, and it’s not about chasing shortcuts. It’s about getting the fundamentals right: shooting with calm confidence, editing with consistency, communicating in a way that builds trust, and creating a client experience that feels professional and easy. The goal is simple: a wedding photography business that attracts the right couples and sells itself through your work, your reputation, and the experience you give people.

What this mentorship is (and what it isn’t)

It is…

  • Support and guidance, tailored to where you are right now
  • Help building confidence, consistency, and a calmer workflow
  • Real feedback on your shooting, editing, and client experience
  • Business foundations that make booking feel more natural
  • A year of accountability, encouragement, and clarity

It isn’t…

  • A “do exactly this” formula with strict weekly tasks
  • Facebook, Meta, Google, or paid ads coaching
  • A quick fix or a one-size-fits-all course
  • About copying someone else’s style or personality

What it feels like to be mentored

No pressure. No judgement. You can ask anything, as often as you need to. Most mentees come to me feeling stuck, unsure what to focus on, or frustrated that they’re working hard but not getting consistent results. The goal is that you finish the year feeling clear, capable, and confident in your own way of doing things.

  • You’ll know what to prioritise next, instead of trying everything at once
  • You’ll feel more confident talking to couples and handling enquiries
  • You’ll shoot with more calm and control, even on busy wedding days
  • You’ll deliver work you’re proud of, consistently

What’s included

Hands-on wedding experience

You’ll learn by being involved in real weddings, not just talking about them. I’ll bring you into the day so you can see how everything works in real time, from prep through to the dancefloor, with the pressure, the pace, and the unexpected moments that you only get at actual weddings.

You’ll get guidance and support as you shoot, so you’re not left guessing. We’ll look at where to stand, what to watch for, how to anticipate moments before they happen, and how to work calmly around people without getting in the way.

Personal feedback and guidance

You’ll get honest, supportive feedback on your images and how you’re working on the day. Sometimes it’s the smallest tweaks that make the biggest difference: where you’re standing, how you’re framing, how you’re using light, or what you’re paying attention to in the moment.

I’ll help you focus on the few things that will move you forward, rather than trying to fix everything at once, so progress feels achievable and not overwhelming.

Workflow and editing guidance

We’ll build a workflow that feels simple, organised, and reliable, so you always know what you’re doing next and nothing slips through the cracks. We’ll look at culling, backing up, storing, and delivering in a way that’s efficient and safe.

On the editing side, we’ll focus on consistency and creating a clean, stylish look that feels like you. You’ll learn how to get results you can repeat confidently across a full wedding, from prep through to the dancefloor.

Software and kit advice (kept simple)

You do not need loads of fancy gear or a complicated setup. You just need a solid kit you can trust, and software that makes your life easier, not harder.

I’ll help you make smart choices based on how you shoot and where you’re at right now, so you feel confident with what you’re using.

Business support (without the overwhelm)

We’ll talk through pricing, enquiries, communication, and your overall client journey in a way that makes sense for you, without turning it into a rigid checklist.

The aim is a business that feels solid behind the scenes, and a client experience that naturally leads to more bookings because it feels clear, professional, and easy.

Ongoing support between sessions

You won’t be left guessing between sessions. If questions pop up, you can message me as they come up so small issues get sorted quickly before they turn into big blocks.

Support can be via email or WhatsApp, whichever is easiest.

Confidence with couples

If you ever feel awkward directing couples, you’re not alone. I’ll help you guide people naturally without stiff posing or making it feel like a photoshoot that stops the day.

You’ll learn simple prompts and easy direction that keeps things relaxed, natural, and genuinely enjoyable for your couples.
